In many of my posts, I end with ways to put what is covered into action. You will find these under the "Blessing in Action" heading. Here's why:
James 1:22-25 tells us to go beyond hearing the word to becoming doers.
"But the one who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing" James 1:25 ESV
Do not 'read and run'
It is good to hear God's Word, but there are blessings that can only be obtained by acting on what is heard.
If something you read blesses you in any way, do not simply scroll, click, or swipe away. Take a step of faith and follow it up with action. Act like you believe what you have read. At the very least, it will make what you have read stick with you and sink deeper.
The action does not have to be what I suggest. Read with listening ears open to hearing from God, and follow whatever ways the Holy Spirit prompts you to act. Whatever action you take, be less focused on the outcome and more focused on obedience.
Blessing in Action: Never Sit on Word Heard
This is something you can apply to every instance you hear the word of God. Make a habit of asking yourself the question: What can I do today to put what I have heard into action?
"For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified." Romans 2:13 ESV

Blessings!
