Spending Time with God
Throughout His Word, God promises to always be with me, so I know that He always is. (See Matthew 28:20 or Joshua 1:9, for example). However, I am not always actively aware of His presence. It is possible to be in the same room as someone without spending time with them; even without noticing them. How often do we do with with God? Psalm 100:3 (ESV) says: Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Ima

Relationship Goals
People sometimes share pictures of their (or someone else's) relationship, using the hashtag relationshipgoals . Posters believe these images depict an aspirational romantic relationship. Some critics say the images do not represent reality and feel contrived. Nevertheless, an online search of the phrase would produce more articles than you could read with examples or tips for relationship goals. It is a hugely popular topic. The primary purpose is to grow closer as a couple

Memorising Psalm 119
With 176 verses, Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm and longest chapter in the Bible. It can be read in around 15 minutes, depending on translation and reading speed. In the original language, it is written as an acrostic poem with 22 stanzas. Each stanza has 8 couplets. The couplets in the first stanza begin with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The couplets in the second stanza begin with the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet and so on to the end of the Hebrew alphab

Why Memorise Scripture?
What is Scripture Memorisation? As a result of attending church, reading our Bibles, listening to preaching online, attending prayer meetings or reading Christian literature we will hear certain Bible references over and over again. Eventually, we will commit some of them to memory. When we talk about memorising Scripture we mean to do it with intent. It is to decide to learn specific portions of the Bible. This could be verses, chapters or whole books of the Bible. Some peop

Why Write the Scriptures?
I have fallen in love with writing out a short piece of the Bible each day. I'm not new to writing down verses that stand out to me. I am rarely without a notebook and pen because I enjoy and know the value of writing down what matters to me. My prayer board is covered in Bible verses I've written by hand or typed out, cut down and pinned to the board. As I sit at my desk I often take a moment to cast my eyes across these verses and always find a reason to pray or praise God.
